ABOUT ME …
Over the last 30 years I have been privileged to work with many of Australia and New Zealand’s leading fashion brands; from established retailers to start-ups, including a full grassroots involvement in the start-up of The Iconic. I have been recognized for my fashion industry expertise being awarded the role of Judge on Project Runway Australia (Foxtel Series 1 & 2). I enjoy contributing to Community issues and have been appointed as a member of the Board of Directors for ‘TLC for Kids’.
I am a talented generalist with strong leadership and coaching capabilities and a highly strategic mind. I have experience in operating at a senior and executive level in many areas within the fashion retail sector. Although during the first two decades of my career I focusing on product and buying, over the last decade I have also specialised in ecommerce, digital strategy and expansion, digital marketing, start-ups, coaching and leadership, brand marketing, consumer research and customer segmentation.
I have enjoyed navigating the changing face of the global retail environment and have experienced much success through my ability to identify and adapt to the behavioural shifts, changing values and experiential nature of today’s consumer. Most recently I have lead businesses and teams in the ecommerce/digital field and enjoy this expanding world that drives us further into customer centricity.

As a Business Consultant, I work with developing strategy, road maps and implementation plans, digital strategy, operations and expansion, reviewing and refocussing product ranging and assortment, new product initiatives, creative brand strategy, brand positioning, building teams and capabilities, brand expansion through multiple channels and countries, identification of customer segments, opportunistic gaps in the market place, organisational restructure and Board roles. I have stepped in to lead teams through transitioning periods, while recruitment for these roles was taking place.

Developing business strategy and implementation plans, branding strategies, product strategies, hiring and building teams, creating collaborative and dynamic cultures, brand positioning, consulting on brand names and logos, identifying brand unique propositions, detecting opportunistic gaps in the marketplace, and isolating opportunities to increase market penetration.
Working with the product teams to redefine their consumer base and refine their product; ranging and offering, looking at different requirements for diverse markets and countries. Assessing buyer’s skills and assisting with development in this area. Working with planning and merchandise teams to identify and rectify stock requirements and flow.
Building and working with ecommerce teams in the areas of business and growth strategy, website design, UX, Digital Marketing strategy and execution.
Working with marketing teams in to refine brand positioning, customer research projects; to define and refine customer language and voice; digital marketing strategies and partnerships, social media strategies and execution.
Working with teams to create a collaborative approach to ensure the focus is streamlined, there is accountability for the results and to build trust within the team.
